InsightHack: Flexible Charts for Big Data

InsightHack bet on artificial intelligence and machine learning to deliver automated services, such as market research and market analysis, competitive intelligence, technology exploration and scouting, ideas validation, and ideas research.

In addition to the typical design tasks like websites, landing pages, and presentations, I focused on solving a more complex challenge: designing universal data visualizations for large and diverse datasets. Our engineers gathered vast amounts of data—hundreds of thousands of rows on tens of thousands of topics—and my job was to create templates that could effectively represent this data to our users.

The visualizations needed to be flexible and resilient, capable of displaying meaningful insights regardless of whether there was a small or vast amount of data, or whether the data was short or extensive. I developed graph templates that were not only visually appealing and easy to interpret but also technologically robust, integrating smoothly with the front-end and supporting our internal framework.

The key to this project was ensuring the visualizations were not only informative and user-friendly for our clients but also adaptable to the varying complexities of the data sets. These solutions significantly enhanced the user experience, providing clear, useful insights, regardless of the data volume or complexity.

With the introduction of ChatGPT, the demand for our service has disappeared, so the project is closed.
